"The Heaven on Earth" situated at the northern most part in India is no more in its actual shape today.A state of Valleys and Lakes, Buddhist monasteries of Ladakh, the sacred place "Vaishno Devi",Three Mugal Gardens, Natural Autumn effects, Winter snowfalls are something that have always attracted people from all over the world.The Chinar trees that are present in India only ,the houseboats, Shikaras(small boats) in the lake add to its beauty.
Unfortunately, there is something that the Government is concerned about and that is terrorism.Terrorism is being fomented by a few terrorist groups especially the group called Al-Qaeda..People in few regions,we can say are acquainted with the sounds of bullet firings and bombardment.We hear of kashmiris, militants, journalists dying everyday or every two days.Any ways terrorism in the state is an unending debate which we can not sort it out by writing blogs.
Besides, there is something else .Its about the natural disaster that occurred few days back at Leh Ladakh.The cloudburst that killed over 150 people.Over 200 or 300 people are still missing and the Armymen are in the operation to rescue them.
During this operation,a baby girl was rescued named Deldan Angmo.She was found floating in the mud.The 2 years child surviving the flood when her entire village was washed off by the devastation is truly miraculous.More than that how the little girl's brain would have reacted in all those situations before she was rescued.Its painful to even imagine anything of that sort on my part.She was rushed to the nearby hospital and was taken care off.But the story does not end here.After interrogation,Deldan's mother was also found alive who was shifted to another hospital.
Finally both the mother and daughter are now re-united.Atleast for the time being they can be a kind of booster to each other to lead the life in a certain way.
A hearty salute to the Indian Army and to both Mother&Daughter...Especially to Deldan Angmo.
